More Thanksgiving, whether I like it or not.

I took a quiz to see if I were American or Canadian Thanksgiving.  I got American and the results were so not me I refuse to post them. But I'll take as many as I can find and post them all on one post to save time. Plus I don't think I'll be able to think of any witty titles.

You Are Pumpkin Pie

Even when people are full - they make room for you.
Good or bad, your smell is most likely to arouse a man.
Work is Hard. Time for Blogthings!

That's interesting. And pretty creepy.

You Are 84% Thankful

You're an incredibly thankful person, and everyone around you feels very appreciated.

You inspire people to be more optimistic, forgiving, and grateful.

You Are an Indian

It's likely that you spent a lot of time outdoors as a kid.
You feel comfortable and at peace in nature. You identify with Native Americans.
You are a truly helpful and giving person. You like to lend a hand.
And while you do your best to do the right thing, people haven't always been kind back to you.

I'll take this too.

What Your Thanksgiving Meal Says About You

When it comes to the holidays, you follow and love the big traditions. You look forward to them every year.

You see the holidays as a time to think about what's important to you. It's a good time to reflect and regroup.

You like the more adult aspects of the holidays - parties, cocktails, and having time off from work.

During the holidays, you are likely to feel generous. At your worst, you feel exhausted.

You consider yourself a big kid, and you're proud of it.

You tend to spend your holidays relaxing. Holidays are your down time.
The First Rule of Blogthings Is: You Don't Talk About Blogthings

I feel like I can really dig in to this one. I don't like Thanksgiving traditions. I really don't like Thanksgiving food in general.  My family used to go to this one Italian restaurant every year for awhile and I always ate pizza, even though they had a fancy "traditional" Thanksgiving meal with about 4 courses. I liked my pizza tradition just fine, though. So maybe I don't mind the whole tradition thing, I just prefer my own as opposed to someone else's.

Reflecting is good. But it's better when it's not done at holidays. It's more meaningful when you just do it, rather than feeling like you need to because of the calendar.

I like parties and I like cocktails.  I'd like time off work too if I knew what that meant. I worked yesterday and I work tomorrow at 7am. I would be off today anyway. Sure I'd have class, but that doesn't really count. I'd have been home by noon anyway.

Holidays make me generous and exhausted. At the same time. I do consider myself a big kid, because I'm 22.  I'm still in school and I don't have a "real" job. So there. I am a big kid. Finally, I wish I could spend holidays relaxing. Alas, I'm a college student. Whenever I finish with this, I have a paper to write. Happy Thanksgiving to me!!

You Are Cornbread

While some people may find Thanksgiving to be stressful, you are able to kick back and soak it all in.

You have a high threshold for stress, and you prefer to just focus on the parts of Thanksgiving that you love the best.

You may go unnoticed at times, but you are often the glue that holds everything together. People would be unsatisfied if you weren't around.

You are easy going and easy to love. And a lot more interesting than boring old dinner rolls!

I don't know what to say about this. So I won't.

You Are Flexible and Easy Going

You're the type of person who can get along with anyone. Like mashed potatoes, you mesh well with stronger personalities.

In fact, you tend to prefer to hang with those who steal the spotlight. You were never looking for the spotlight anyway.

You are appreciative of every thing you have in life, and you don't take much for granted. You enjoy life's small comforts.

You are never picky, and you pride yourself on being low maintenance. You can always make the best of a bad time.

I like everything about this except the part about not being picky. I'm the pickiest of the picky.

Your Thanksgiving Personality is Rebel

You detest Thanksgiving. All that family drama mixed with unappetizing side dishes? No thank you!

You'll make an appearance if you absolutely have to, but you won't enjoy it. You probably don't even like pumpkin pie.

Your ideal Thanksgiving would be spent completely alone... or with the few people that you can tolerate.

You'd eat whatever you want - even in front of the TV if you felt like it. And there's a good chance you wouldn't be eating sweet potatoes with marshmallow. Gag!
