You Are a Perfectionist |
![]() You are not a person who is concerned with details. You only tend to see the big picture. You are slow to act. You like to weigh your options carefully before deciding what to do. You are a dreamer, but you often make sure to act on your dreams. You don't just like to imagine! You are content and harmonious. You've made your peace with the world. |

At first I didn't agree with the whole big picture vs details thing, but then I realized that I only caught the part about only tending to see the big picture when I thought it said I was a person who is concerned with details. Yep, clearly I'm not that concerned with the details as I thought.
I don't think I'm slow enough to act. Well maybe in real life, I don't know. I just feel like I've made a lot of hasty decisions, just because I hate making decisions and if I just do something, I don't have to think about it anymore.
Dreamer yes, follow through-er, maybe not so much. I did go to school for creative writing because I loved to write though. Unfortunately, I don't love to write nearly as much as I did before. I think I get too bogged down in doing everything "right". This is why I disagree about not being concerned with the details: when I try to write fiction, I get so caught up in making sure that everything is accurate and makes sense. Like I really wanted to write a story about Elizabeth Bathory in the spring, but I was too worried about the Hungarian landscape to actually write anything. I know, I know, that's what revision is for, but I'm lazy and I like to cut corners. One less revision means one more hour to watch Gossip Girl. Besides, I do like to just imagine. That's half the fun! (Okay, 99% of the fun.)
