Sex and the City 2 Part 2

Okay, so I watched the second movie and I must say that I enjoyed it a lot more this second time around than I did when I first saw it opening night at midnight back in May.  I was so disappointed because the first movie is like a whole seventh season condensed into two and a half hours whereas the second movie feels more like an episode stretched out into two and a half hours.  It's very cute and funny, a lot funnier than I thought it was the first time as well, because I caught a lot more of the jokes since I wasn't distracted by the new fashion sightings.  I still think that there isn't much of a character arc for anyone other than Miranda, which I loved because she was actually fun and nice for once.  Carrie's too mean though and I don't like it.  She can be mean to Big all she wants because I don't even like him, but I hate when she yells at Charlotte.  It makes me so sad! I love Charlotte! And the last thing that I want to complain about that movie is how mad Big gets at Carrie for kissing Aidan.  Like I understand how that would be hurtful to hear about, especially over the phone, but he didn't even make it to the altar to leave her there at their library wedding! Talk about a jerk! That being said, at least he doesn't cut off all communication with Carrie over it, which would be ridiculous since they're kinda married and all. Okay, I'm done talking about the movie. I won't even start with the stereotypical representations of the Middle East and Muslims.

I had to jinx it, didn't I? I'm not sure why there's another one of these "Which SATC character are you" quizzes, but I'm going to take all of them no matter what.  Sorry, I just really like SATC! I do agree with a lot of this though.  I am an idealist and I expect the best of everyone and they don't always live up to these expectations.  I just assume that most people are good people, and unfortunately that's not always true. I do think of myself as sweet and caring as well as super feminine and quite smart.  I just hate that it seems strange to be super feminine and smart.  "Feminine" is not synonymous with "Dumb".  And not all brainy people are serious! Hmmph!

Obviously not all of this is true, but the friend part definitely is. I'm very lucky to have the great friends that I have. I love them with all my heart! Honestly though, this quiz was really depressing. It felt like you're either fabulous or pathetic. At least I had enough fabulous answers to get me a result that doesn't make me look like a loser! Because I definitely felt like one when I was taking this quiz. Thumbs down to this guy.

I'll buy all of this too. The only part I have trouble with (obviously) is the line "Some would consider you a feminist." Um, yeah. Miranda IS a feminist and if you ask me, they all are. Whether they say it or not, all four of these women are pro-woman.  If you need proof, the karaoke "I am Woman" scene in the second movie is  all you need. But yeah, some would consider me a feminist? That's an understatement. I am a feminist and I'm not scared to say it.

I'm not going to lie. I'm a little disappointed by this. I love Aviators just as much as the next girl, but I was expecting something a little more "Carrie". By that I mean something more unique to her, as in an entire outfit that she wore. I do love the dress in this photo, but it's not the dress, it's just the glasses. Lame!
