 You love the holidays, and you don't get too hung up on how they should or shouldn't be. You go with the flow, and you try to appreciate every nice little thing that happens. You are open to new holiday experiences. You like traditions, but they certainly aren't set in stone. Unlike most people, you rarely feel lonely during the holidays. You can always stay occupied with something! |
Blogthings: We're Not Shrinks, But We Play Them On the Internet
I'm really not all that into holidays, but I do like them. "Peaceful" isn't exactly the word I would chose, but this does sound pretty accurate. I'm very laid back when it comes to holidays. When it comes to staying occupied, I'm usually just watching movies or reading. However, this Christmas, my "new holiday experience" will be ice skating with my boyfriend on Christmas day. My mom has to work, even though she worked Thanksgiving too, so we're having a early celebration and an even earlier dinner. We're talking 10:30-11:00 am early. Bummer, I know, but if I'm lucky enough to have two days off in a row next week, I'll be able to go with my parents to visit my grandma and other family in Lancaster, PA. Unfortunately, I have a feeling that this long-standing tradition will once again be out of my reach. I never seem to have very good luck with my work schedule. But I won't get too worked up about it, because traditions don't have to be "set in stone" to make me happy.
